Listening to  ~ Noah and the Whale ~ Give it all back ~

These pictures are from May when I was last by the sea. It has been too long since I had some sea air in my lungs. Luckily I only have to wait two more weeks before my next trip to the sea side. Outfit posts have been scarce, since co-coordinating myself and my photographer has been tricky and I still feel too silly taking the tripod out and about around here. This weekend has been fairy mellow, picnic in the park and today Sunday lunch in a great local restaurant and a stroll to see some historical buildings. Out of interest to any international readers- does anyone else enjoy a Sunday roast? This outfit is super simple but seaside appropriate. Featuring my all time favourite sort of ugly but awesome shoes and the best quality striped top I have found so far. Good old uni qlo. As for this back pack - I think it was maybe someone's 1990s school bag, since it features a lot of Biro scribbles to the interior. I like the jaunty turquoise colour scheme though.

  1. Such a gorgeous simple outfit, and I love how it works with the scenery. I wish I were at the beach right now, but it's so damn cold here. Sunday roasts remind me of visiting my grandparents on my farm, where after 9 years they're still grappling with the idea of vegetarianism! Such Kiwi country folk.

  4. This is a perfect outfit. I might have to check Uniqulo for stripey tops. And I love the backpack and your seagull pin. I love being by the seaside, and despite living close to it haven't spent enough time there in recent months--damn thesis.

Looking forward to seeing more of your pictures soon!

  6. Were you in St Ives? I always find the light there is amazing - and the light in your photographs is lovely. I like your Breton - I'm always on the look out for more, so I might give Uniqlo a try!

  12. Just do it! As far as the tripod goes...I know the feeling because I take a large majority of my photos myself and that fact alone can be daunting. Also, that's such an adorable bag you're carrying.
