See the boats go sailing

 Dress - Etsy
Shoes - Charity shop
Belt - Vintage (was my mum's)
Cardigan - Charity shop
Hat - H&M

So I am back from a very restful weekend by the sea. We spent most of our time eating Cornish pasties, playing crazy golf, visiting many a charity shop and playing by the sea. This dress is my first Etsy purchase and I am very happy with it. It is nautical themed and made of chambray, and although it's a bit too big for me, I knew it must be mine. Luckily it arrived just before we left for Devon and I planned on taking some outfit pictures of it by the sea, which I did . Although I have to say I hadn't planned on it being so very windy! Luckily I had this new man's trilby  from H&M to hand. The cardigan is one I found a little while ago and is super comfy, as are the shoes. I have real trouble finding comfortable shoes, even though I always wear flats so now I have some I have barely taken them off.   I took a few more photos on our trip which I will post this week. I hope everyone had enjoyable bank holidays.

  3. Bank holidays! In the Philippines we call them long weekends... I love beaches in Europe and the Mediterranean because of all the rocks and shallow waters and the light almost translucent turquoise colour of the sea. Our beaches may have white sand and coral reefs, but the sea is more azure and dark blue.

That's a perfect dress (unique pattern texture from that photo) and I think I'm going to check out that Etsy shop.

  7. Thanks for your comments everyone.
A bank holiday is a British holiday where most people have the Monday after a weekend off work. Banks are meant to shut too hence the name. And A your beaches sound pretty great to me!
